Changing Bank Deposits
1. When you first enter the Bank Deposits option a Select A Checking Account window will appear and list all checking and cash accounts. Scroll to the appropriate account and press Enter to select.
2. Select the appropriate Bank Deposits listed in the window and press F10.
3. A secondary Select An Option window will appear displaying the following choices: EXIT, ADD CHECKS, CHG PERIOD, DLT DEPOSIT,and PRINT DEPOSIT. A listing of all checks associated with the specified deposit will also display.
- EXIT – Select EXIT to exit and return to the Select A Checking Account window.
- ADD CHECKS – If you select ADD CHECKS and press F10, the system will allow you to add more checks to this deposit. A window appears and displays all un-deposited cash applications and miscellaneous cash receipts for the checking account you previously specified. In order to select the appropriate check(s) for this deposit, highlight a line item and press Enter. The system will assign an asterisk next to the un-deposited check to indicate that it has been selected. Repeat this process if you want to include other un-deposited checks for this deposit or press F9 to tag all un-deposited checks. Once you have finished with your selections, press F10 to proceed. If there are no more un-deposited checks in the system, the message line displays “No un-deposited checks for this account!!! Press Space Bar”.
- If you tag an existing check on the deposit you will be given the option to delete the check from the deposit – yes deletes the check from the deposit, no returns you to the deposit detail
- If you select CHG PERIOD and press F10, the system will allow you to change the Period and Year fields, if applicable.
4. Press F10 to exit.
